Welcome to Kit Hill Castle Kennels & Cattery

Kit Hill Castle Kennels and Cattery was established in 1995, with the current owners, Dawn and Russell, being in charge since 2004. We have achieved huge strides towards our goal of being the best family run kennels and cattery in the Tamar Valley.

Set on the beautiful slopes of Kit Hill and with distant views of St. Mellion Golf Course and Plymouth, our philosophy is very simple, we want all our guests at the kennels and cattery to feel at home when they come to our facility. We want the cats and dogs to feel warm, secure and at home in a comfortable environment. We look after your pets as if they were our own.

Day Care Facilities

For those of you coming to Cornwall on holiday, we provide a day care facility for dogs and cats. Our one day care service enables you to visit Plymouth or Cornwall's other famous attractions that do not welcome pets, such as the Eden Project or St. Mellion golf course.

Exercise & Play

We have 18 acres at Kit Hill Castle Kennels and Cattery, including many large secure paddock areas for the dogs to free roam or to play fetch with balls and toys. All the dogs get walked and the opportunity to play in the areas three to four times a day.

Kit Hill Boarding Kennels are lucky enough to be fully licensed by the local council, allowing for 65 dogs and 22 cats, and we have a variety of kennels catering for single dogs and cats or families of four with a choice of blocks to suit different personalities.

We provide a holiday atmosphere for your pets which helps to ensure they are healthy and happy.
